Consignment Tips from Rumors
Has It!TIPS FOR PREPARING YOUR ITEMS TO
EARN THE MOST CASH Items need to be freshly washed
(within the last week) and be free of pet hair or
odors. If you heat with wood, or have pets, please
wash your items and cover them with a plastic bag prior to bringing
them for consignment.
Clothing should be
on hangers. Your hangers will be returned to you or you may
request hangers from us prior to bringing items in.
Children's clothing and jeans may be folded neatly and laid flat in a
small box or tub.
Items in plastic bags
and trash bags will not be accepted.
Items
should be in like new condition and free of wrinkles. Items
which are stained, torn, piled, faded, have missing/broken buttons or
zippers or are out of style will not be accepted for
consignment. Items with the brand and size tags removed also
cannot be accepted.
Items need to be
recent styles—purchased new in the last 2 years is a good guide to
use.
Please do not be offended if we are
unable to accept some of your items, our customers desires must be our
guide.
